About Jordan Brooks

I am majoring in Aviation Management Technology and minoring in General Business, therefore getting this scholarship will really help me with my studies and future professional aspirations. Tuition costs would be minimized with financial aid, assisting me to concentrate primarily on my education, aviation training, and professional growth. My ultimate career objective is to work at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport before moving on to become an airline pilot. With the support of this scholarship, I would be able to purchase the materials I need to accomplish my goal and keep growing and acquiring knowledge. I have actively helped my campus and local community during my time in college. In addition to being the Treasurer of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., I am currently the President of Kings of Color Inc. and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). These positions have given me the opportunity to mentor marginalized students, plan educational activities, and conduct community outreach. I have continuously made the Dean's List and am a member of the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Academic Honor Society, both of which demonstrate my dedication to both academic success and personal development. For students who are dedicated to both academic achievement and giving back, the scholarship represents more than just financial assistance. Once I graduate, I want to use my degree and experience to start mentorship programs that introduce young people to business jobs, particularly those from underrepresented populations. By doing this, I intend to leave a lasting impression on the communities I serve as well as the sky, inspiring the future generation.
